📌President M7 will today commission 10 factories worth Ush 712 billion in Buikwe District. The companies under The Modern Group makes; Gas, Tiles, Aluminium, Organic Fertilizers, Sanitizers, Kaliro Sugar and has a power generation plant of 2,000 megawatts.
📌 Gov't has transferred management of the wetland fish farming project from the Ministry of Water and Environment to the Internal Security Organisation (ISO), following years of stagnation that left farmers frustrated.
Lt Col Frank Banana, ISO director in charge of mobilisation, described it as a presidential-sanctioned operation to boost wetland restoration and livelihoods in Busoga, Bukedi, and Kigezi
📌 The 4th Northern Uganda Agriculture and Trade Show continues at Gulu University. Over 200 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors are expected. The event links farmers with opportunities to access credit, new technologies, and improved farming practices.
It is organized by the Uganda Forum for Agriculture Advisory Services (UFAAS) in partnership with the Bank of Uganda
