REGISTER A BUSINESS IN UGANDA 🤗

Step 1: Name Reservation

First choose and reserve your business name from (Here)

Step 2: Company Registration

If your reserved name is approved, then prepare the documents below

▶️ Company Name Reservation Form: Proof of your reserved business name.

▶️ Memorandum and Articles of Association: These show your company's objectives, rules, and structure.

▶️ Form A2 - Shows the Share Capital and Shareholder particulars

▶️ Form A3 - Shows the Particulars of Directors and Secretary.

▶️ Certified copies of identification: Passports or National IDs for directors, shareholders, and the company secretary.

▶️ Passport photos: For directors, shareholders, and the company secretary.

▶️ Company forms: Depending on the business structure, Form 18 Appointment of first directors and Form 20 -Notice of registered office might be needed.

Step 3: Obtain a Tax Identification Number (TIN)

Step 4: Other Registrations/Licenses

Depending on the nature of your business, you might need additional licences or permits. For example if you are in the food industry, you'd need health permits.
