On this day in 1789 - French rebels stormed Bastille prison in Paris to show their tiredness against the ruling monarchy.
A year later, in 1790, France held a massive celebration of national unity. They called it the 'Bastille Day' and still celebrate it up to today.

The Government, through a new wetland management plan, has started restoring 3,278 .15 hectares of degraded wetlands in Bulambuli, Sironko & Bukedea.

The 8th annual Uganda - Canada Diaspora Business Expo & convention was concluded in Toronto, Canada.
The event's objective is to see that Uganda's fish, coffee, beans, music, hard work, manners and technology easily reach Canada and vice versa.
🏥In the health sector,
Uganda is among the first countries in Africa to gain access to Lenacapavir, a new HIV prevention drup - though the dose currently costs 100 million per person per year.
