Good morning ! On this day in 1789 - French rebels stormed Bastille prison in Paris to show their tiredness against the ruling mornachy.
A year later, in 1790, France held a massive celebration of national unity. They called it the 'Bastile Day' and still celebrate it up to today.

Bunyoro University is nolonger a dream. This is after the family of Dr. Wamani Henry donated 97 acres of land to Governemnt to expand the new institution. Thank you -Doctor Henry.
In climate news - the Government , through a new wetland management plan, has started restoring 3,278 .15 hectares of degraded wetlands in Bulambuli, Sironko & Bukedea.
Meanwhile the 8th annual Uganda - Canada Diaspora Business Expo & convention was conluded in Toronto , Canada. The event's objective is to see that Uganda's fish, coffee, beans, music, hardwork, manners and technology easily reach Canada and vice versa.
In the health sector, Uganda is among the first countries in Africa to gain access to Lenacapavir, a new HIV prevention drup - though the dose currently costs 100 million per peron per year.

In Athletics: Uganda is sending a team of 19 athletes to the 2025 Confederation of African Athletes (CAA) Under 18 and 20 championships to be held in Nigeria.
