📰Headmaster Tokola Error!
We have sometimes seen those sad stories where innocent candidates fail to sit UNEB exams because some HM ate the registration money.
This time - UNEB reminds all schools to display registered P7, Senior Four and Senior Six candidates on the school noticeboards -starting from 1st August to October 11th.
This will ensure early correction of errors and also help candidates prepare for their exams worry free.
The things to check are;
ℹ️The candidate's name, the spelling and order of names. ℹ️Is the photograph correct? ℹ️ What about their date of birth? ℹ️ Confirm the candidate's subjects too.
Our dear HMs- please note that this is now a legal requirement.
📰 Meanwile, URA has appointed Mr. Denis Kugonza Kateeba as the new Commissioner for the Domestic Taxes Department.
This Department is responsible for collecting taxes on income, goods, and services that are consumed or produced within Uganda. Examples of these taxes include; Income Tax, VAT , Excise & Stamp duty among others.
Mr. Kateeba is expected to collect about 24 trillion shillings from URA's overall target of 31.8 trillion shillings - this financial year.
Congratulations and all the best, Denis.
⚽️And in soccer; Man-U was walloped three nill by their noisy neighbours and Arsenal strangled a weak Nottingham Forest to go 2nd on the premier league table. Meanwhile, Liverpool fluked a late penalty to escape their first draw of the season.
That's it ladies and gentlemen
Mukama Abakuume.

💭 DAILY QUOTE:
“My agreement with the Boda Bodas is that it is criminal for someone to give you a rabbit and then demand a cow in return. Moneylenders give you Shs 5 million and expect Shs 15 million back. That is robbery,” President Yoweri Museveni
