Hellos 🤗

Ready for the week of complete transformation!?

Then keep it Sanyu Daily - to see you through it.

We start with

📆 Today in History.

In 1828 : Shaka Zulu was killed by his half-brothers, Dingane and Mhlangana, at his royal homestead.

And in 1960 - the Mali Federation was dissolved - renaming the country Mali.

⁉️  Watsup... wastup... once again 😊 !  Has the political heat reached your kitchen yet?  Is your party making moves ?  Oba, you are just watching from the stands like us.

Wherever you stand - it's sometimes had to avoid politics.

So- we have a question. If you were to participate in the next government - what issues would you prioritise ?  Where would you put the money ?

Hit reply and tell us... For us we shall tell the government.

Mu mawulire:

📰 Today, September 22, is a historic conservation day in Uganda.

The first ever Rhino Naming Ceremony will take place at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary with the aim of raising 40 billion shillings to protect Uganda's Rhinos.

The ceremony, to be presided over by President M7, is organised by UWA, UTB Ministry of Tourism and is an opportunity for  individuals, companies, and philanthropists to symbolically "adopt" and name one of the 17 rhino babies.

The Money raised will be used to expand rhino habitats, strengthen our anti-poaching patrols, provide veterinary care, and to support community conservation projects.

Infact, UWA plans to translocate 20 Rhinos from Ziwa to the Ajai Wildlife Reserve in Pakwach - reintroducing the animals to a place they once roamed freely and unbothered by people.

📰  Before we continue - a small clarification.

On Friday- we heard that Ugandans had been banned from Dubai.

The latest developments confirm the reports as fake and should be ignored.

📰  Meanwhile, yesterday  President Museveni gave 10.2 billion shillings to 102 Boda Boda SACCOs in Kampala. The money is to help 400,000 riders acquire new boda bodas at a cost of 5M each at an annual interest of 6%.

The money is strictly for buying new bikes - not for repaying old debts. M7 confirmed.

📰  In international news:

Did you know that over 140 countries, including most of Africa, Asia, and Latin America, officially recognize the State of Palestine ?

Well, recent reports say the UK, Canada, Australia, and Portugal formally recognized Palestine on September 21, 2025.

This decision, announced ahead of the UN General Assembly, marks a significant change because these countries had previously connived with America to withhold  Palestines recognition.

The move is a response to the ongoing conflict in Gaza and aims to keep a two-state solution alive.

⚽️ In the Premier League; Arsenal and Man City battled to a 1-1 tie. Man U secured a  2-1 win over Chelsea, while Liverpool defeated Everton 2-1 in the Merseyside derby.

In Spain : Real Madrid continued their perfect start with a 2-0 win over Espanyol, and Barcelona also secured a convincing 3-0 victory against Getafe.

That will be all.
