📰 Did you know that the The Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife ranch is the only place with white Rhinos in Uganda?
Yes - and the Rhinos gave birth to 17 new calves. And to celebrate the new life - a Rhino Naming Ceremony will take place at the ranch on Monday 22nd September 2025
The ranch was yesterday visited by Lisa Chesney - UK's ambassador to Uganda - where she came face to face with the majestic Rhinos that had been declared extinct in Uganda in 1983.
She was hosted by UWA, UTB and ZIWA Rhino Sanctuary.
📰 Meanwhile, the race for Kampala Lord Mayorship has heated up after Beatrice Mao, wife to Justice Minister Norbert Mao, was successfuly nomitated by the EC yesterday.
She has promised unity for Kampalans. But will her rivals like incumbent; Erias Lukwago (PFF Party) and Ronald Balimwezo ( NUP) accept?
📰 Elsewhere, Burkina Faso’s has become the latest African country to outlaw homosexuality & LGBTQ practices. The Persons and Family Code law, which was passed last week introduces fines, prison sentences and sanctions for persons convicted.
