Here are today's highlights;

President M7, on his final leg of the PDM tour, launched the 23 Billion Busega Market promising to construct an access between the market and the northern bypass road,  to ease movement. 

UEDCL will connect 900,000 new households to the national power grid under the new Ush 1.4 trillion World Bank electricity access project, launched last week. 

Government has approved the creation of nine new town councils to align our local govt administrative structures ahead of the 2026 elections.

In sad news, the country mourns  Professor George Kanyeihamba, a retired judge and one of Uganda's 1995 Constitution writers ,  known for his outspoken criticism of the government on constitutional issues.  May his soul rest in peace. 

In outside news,  America has reduced the validity of non-immigrant visas for Ugandans from two years to three months for single entry, citing fraud concerns and overstays. 

But why doesn't  America also refund our Visa fees when they deny us visas? Isn't that Fraud ?
