📰 Airtel Uganda is making serious profits.  In the half year report ended June 2025 - Revenues grew from 966 billion shillings to a whooping 1 trillion. And profit after tax was 197 billion- from 153 billion in 2024. 

The growth came from new subscribers and the rising demand for data & internet services (A copy of the report is here)

NOTE: Airtel Uganda's total indicative share trading liquidity in the past 12 months, as of 5th August 2025, is Shillings 677.29 million  (An average of Shillings 56.44 million) per month

📰 President Museveni says that it is money from China that is building the major transport and energy projects in Africa.  He was opening UDB's two- day conference deliberating on how development finance can accelerate Africa’s transformation.

Focus was on tackling debt burdens, mobilizing resources, and exploring opportunities in agriculture, technology, and services
