In 1932 – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is created by merging the kingdoms of Hejaz and Nejd. The day is called Saudi National Day in the Kingdom.
And in 1889: The Japanese gaming company called Nintendo was created by entrepreneur Fusajiro Yamauchi.
⁉️ Yesterday, we had a question on government issues. But we did not get enough responses – it looks like people are fearing to say things - what are you fearing, our dear readers😄?

📰 The Electoral Commission has today formaly nominated President Museveni as the flag bearer and candidate for NRM. And 2moro - Mr. Robert Kyagulanyi - will also be nominated as the candidate for the National Unity Party.
We wish both candidates the best of luck.
📰 Elsewhere - General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the CDF and Special Operations Senior Presidential advisor , is currently concluding a week long tour of China - today.
These are the fruits of his visit.
ℹ️ He signed a military cooperation agreement that will provide professional education and joint training exercises for UPDF soldiers.
ℹ️ He met General Liu Zhenli, China's CDF, and Mr. Liu Yuxi - China's special representative on Government Affairs to discuss peace operations. They took time to visit China's premier peacekeeping training base which will be used as a benchmark to improve Uganda's Nakaseke Peace Support and Training Centre.
ℹ️ He also visited the China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation (CATIC) which makes aviation products and the China North Industries Group Corporation Limited (NORINCO) which makes military products.
ℹ️ He also attended the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum which brings together defense and military experts from around the world to discuss international peace and security challenges.
The General concluded his engagement by experiencing China's high speed bullet train - which moves at 350 kilometers per hour.
📰 In international news - The Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) company is still counting heavy loses after its IT systems were attacked by cyber criminals in late August - forcing the shut down of their manufacturing plants in the UK, Slovakia, Brazil and India.
Production is expected to resume on October 1st but in the meantime -the UK government is holding crisis talks with affected suppliers, stranded staff and investors to mitigate the impact.
