Hello Friend,
🤗 We are grateful you are here on this lovely Tuesday.
As usual - we start with
📆 Today in 🇺🇬 UG History.
On September 9, 2022: Our parliament amended the 2011 Computer Misuse Act making it a crime to "publish, distribute or share information, prohibited under the laws of Uganda or using disguised or false identity."
They put a fine of 16 million shillings or a 5 year jail term or both - for anyone caught.
🌏 And elsewhere: In America, on the 9th of September 1776 - they dropped the name "United Colonies" of America in favour of "United States" of America.
⁉️ Yesterday, we asked about politics and family - and you wont believe the responses we got 😎 - Some people don't want politics near their homes.
John Obura from Jinja wrote 'When my wife joined NUP - I even started fearing my home - i left her with her politics'.
We are always happy to hear from you.
In the news.

The clinical trials were successful - showing 100% efficiency- and now the Ministry of Health is working the regulations and policies to integrate it into the official national HIV prevention program.
This includes; ℹ️ Updating prevention guidelines ℹ️ Training healthcare workers, ℹ️ and putting it on the essential medicines list. The drug is more convenient than daily pills - making it easy to adhere to.
The U.S. government, in partnership with Gilead Sciences and The Global Fund made this possible.

💭 DAILY QUOTE
"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." ...
Proverbs 17:22 reminds us that a cheerful, joyful heart acts as a healing agent, promoting well-being and vitality, while a depressed, sorrowful, or "crushed" spirit leads to physical weakness and illness.
