A new study by the Ministry of health points the high increase in Diabetes disease to our traditional staple food culture, and long standing dietary habits.
▶️ Fact! More Senior six leavers are now opting for Technical Vocational Education & Training (TVET) instead of going to Universities because of the high demand for employable skills in Uganda.
This year, a total of 50,918 students will compete for the 6,000 available Gov't slots in TVET colleges, Ministry of Education has confirmed.
▶️ Meanwhile, Gov't has contracted VIVO Energy (former Shell Uganda) to distribute and sell Uganda's Oil to both the local and international markets. Uganda's first oil from Hoima is due next year.
